Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo claim Sevilla are considering a move to sign Tottenham target Kim Min-jae from Fenerbahce as a replacement for Jules Kounde. Kounde is being linked with a move to England.

Reports emerged last week that both Newcastle and Chelsea are willing to pay the £78million release clause in France international Kounde’s contract. Now, they have taken a step closer to getting him, with Sevilla eyeing Kim-Min jae.

Kim, 25, only joined Fener last summer but has been an instant hit. Playing 39 times, he helped his side win 18 of his 30 league games, keeping eight clean sheets. Tottenham and Everton are reportedly looking at him.

Indeed, Kim is said to have flown to England in order to discuss a move to the Premier League. However, his next destination could now be Spain as Monchi looks to bring in a replacement for Kounde, and Diego Carlos.

Sevilla, Spurs and Everton are not the only clubs in the mix for Kim, who is rated at a bargain £12million according to ED. They also say Napoli and Milan are looking at him – with 12 clubs in total on his trail.

Whether or not Kounde will move to the Premier League remains to be seen. The Frenchman is said to prefer a move to Barcelona – but the Nou Camp side are struggling for cash at this moment in time.

So, he might have to accept that Premier League clubs are the ones with the necessary dosh. It might see Sevilla look to bring in Kim as a replacement, with Sevilla known for spending small, and selling big.
