Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin, and that could affect Everton.

How?

Here’s how.

Marca has reported that Atletico are interested in signing Bellerin from Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

The Spanish club believe that Trippier could want to return to the Premier League, as his family is in England.

The England international himself is happy at Atletico, but the Spanish champions are not ruling out an exit.

As a potential replacement, Atletico have reportedly identified Bellerin, who earns £110,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com.

The Madrid club’s sporting director, Andrea Berta, is a fan of the Spain International right-back.

If Trippier wants a return to the Premier League, then Atletico will either propose a swap deal with Arsenal or sell the former Tottenham right-back to Manchester United to raise the funds for Bellerin.

This will affect Everton.

The Athletic reported last month that Everton are interested in signing Trippier, and that the former Spurs star himself is keen a move to England.

Now, if Atletico want Bellerin, then they are going to push hard for a swap deal.

Arsenal will need a right-back if Bellerin leaves, and they could be tempted into a deal.

Trippier is a brilliant right-back who was successful at Burnley and Tottenham and helped Atletico win the La Liga title this past season.
