According to Fotospor, Trabzonspor president Ahmet Agaoglu has reached out to Leicester City midfielder Nampalys Mendy’s agent over a summer move.
The Leicester midfielder has been linked with a move this summer.
The Foxes signed Mendy four years ago in a £10 million deal from Nice. He arrived as a potential replacement for France international N’Golo Kante.

Mendy, however, struggled to make an impact. He has featured just six times for the 2015-16 Premier League winners this season.
Now, the 27-year-old’s contract is expiring, and a Leicester exit is highly likely.
According to Fotospor, Trabzonspor want him as the Turkish club look for a replacement for John Obi Mikel who terminated his contract in March.
Mendy is a similar type of bustling midfielder. And, Ahmet Agaoglu has seemingly already contacted his agent over a potential move.
Trabzonspor have stepped up as they face competition from other clubs.
A recent report by Le10sport say Udinese are also interested. However, the club’s struggles in Serie A and possible relegation may hinder their chances.
As for Leicester, they will look at Mendy as a slight blip on an otherwise excellent strategy in the transfer market over the past few years.
