Roma CEO Guido Fienga expressed his interest in signing Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac during his trip to London last week, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
While the new Premier League season is just three weeks away, question marks are hanging over the heads of what feels like half Mikel Arteta’s squad.
Like Shkodran Mustafi, Lucas Torreira, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Sokratis and more, no one appears to have any idea whether Kolasinac will still be training at London Colney when the transfer window slams shut in early October.
The bullish Bosnian continues to split the Arsenal fan base right down the middle.
But even Kolasinac’s most committed supporters would struggle to argue that Real Madrid speed-machine Sergio Reguilon, who could be on his way to England if Defensa Central is to be believed, would not represent a rather substantial upgrade.

Kolasinac has already lost his favoured left-back berth to Kieran Tierney, being forced into a new-look central role by Arteta during the final few weeks of 2019/20.
Sky reported on Monday that Schalke had entered talks to bring their former fan favourite back to the Veltins Arena, although there is interest from Italy too.
Roma’s CEO Guido Fienga travelled to the English capital recently to discuss a deal for Chelsea play-maker Jorginho (TMW), and new reports suggest that the £140,000-a-week Kolasinac is in his sights too.
