KV Oostende believe they will bring in around £10 million for Jack Hendry with 90Min reporting that the Jupiler League outfit are aware of interest from the likes of Aston Villa, Wolves and Newcastle United.
In a season best remembered for devastating defensive blunders, is the finest centre-half on Celtic’s books currently plying his trade out on loan in Belgium?
Hendry, the forgotten man of Parkhead, has been a revelation since joining Oostende on loan last summer, shining while Shane Duffy’s Hoops dream turns into a nightmare.
Just to rub salt into the wounds, there is a clause in Hendry’s contract which allows Oostende to sign him permanently at the end of the season for a bargain fee of around £2 million.
According to 90Min, the Europa League-chasers are already planning to sell the Scotland international and expect to make a profit in the region of £8 million.
Burnley tried and failed to sign Hendry in January, with Wolves, Aston Villa and Brighton also admirers of the former Dundee stopper.

The report claims that Leicester City, Crystal Palace, Newcastle and West Ham have also sent scouts to Belgium in recent weeks.
“I’m open to anything that comes my way. It’s vital that, wherever I choose next season, I need to play every week to continue my development,” 6ft 4ins Hendry, who cost Celtic £1.5 million in 2018, told the BBC last week.
“It’s frustrating I was never given the opportunity to show what I could do (under Neil Lennon).
“The way I’m performing, I could have had a real good impact and it’s not been nice seeing the way the season has panned out for them.”
Hendry has been at his best at the heart of a three-man defence at Oostende, suggesting that he would fit in nicely at Wolves or Newcastle in particular.
