According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea are eyeing Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman in case Christian Pulisic leaves Stamford Bridge.
The Daily Mail recently revealed that Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Manchester United are keen to sign the 34-cap USA international.
Just days after that report, Thomas Tuchel’s side are now allegedly scanning Europe for replacements, just in case Pulisic does leave west London.
Chelsea are long-term admirers of Coman, and began monitoring him when Bayern Munich tried to take Callum Hudson-Odoi from the Blues.
In our view, this is good news for Jürgen Klopp’s hopes of signing Pulisic.

If Chelsea were adamant about keeping the 22-year-old, then why would they be searching for players to replace him already?
Furthermore, we feel Liverpool have a good chance of signing Pulisic due to his relationship with Klopp.
It was the Reds boss who handed the winger his Borussia Dortmund debut, and since then, he’s tried to bring him to Merseyside on multiple occasions.

German outlet Bild say that Liverpool saw numerous offers rejected for Pulisic before he became a Chelsea player, so this rumour could have legs, in our opinion.
At 22 years of age, the American has the potential to become one of Europe’s best, but he’s struggling right now with just one Premier League goal this season.
However, under Klopp – a manager who knows him well – he could kick on and fulfil his massive potential.
