According to La Repubblica, close friends of Antonio Conte are convinced he is going to leave Tottenham at the end of the season.
Why Antonio Conte might leave Tottenham
Well, the Italian news outlet do not leave that claim unexplained.
It is said that those close to Conte believe he feels Tottenham are limited when it comes to finances, and the north Londoners will never be willing to spend as heavily as the likes of Manchester City or Chelsea.
La Repubblica add that Daniel Levy is a potential problem due to his love of finding bargains in the market, an approach which is unlikely to provide the Italian with ‘super’ additions to his squad.
A return to Juventus is not exactly guaranteed for the £304,724-a-week tactician either.

La Repubblica claim that Conte would not enjoy managing the Old Lady under the current regime, which has run Juventus into a spot of bother – the Italian giants currently sit eighth in Serie A after a dismal start to the season.
However, it is said that a salary of at least €10m (£9m) per year and assurances that he will be backed in the transfer market could lure the 53-year-old back to Turin.
Tottenham must back Antonio Conte
Levy certainly delivered in backing Conte over the summer.
£60m was spent on Richarlison, Yves Bissouma was signed for £25m, while Spurs also secured Cristian Romero on a permanent basis for £49m.
However, Levy cannot rest on his laurels.
Conte hasn’t been afraid to walk out on clubs in the past – including his last role at Inter Milan – so if Levy does fail to satisfy him in the transfer market, everything could fall apart at Tottenham.
Having said that, Spurs cannot be held to ransom by the Italian if they think the terms aren’t right for a player, so it will be interesting to see how Conte and Levy’s relationship pans out over time.
