Sunderland apparently are keen to do a deal for Lyon midfielder Clement Grenier.

According to a report in the Chronicle, Clement Grenier is not keen on moving to Sunderland.
Lyon’s president has confirmed that the Black Cats have made a bid for the midfielder, who is on Sam Allardyce’s wishlist.
Grenier has caught the eye with his performances in Ligue 1 and Sunderland feel he could be a potential bargain buy this summer.

However, the 25-year-old is said to be reluctant to move to the Stadium of Light.
The reason why Grenier has concerns about joining Sunderland is not given, but Allardyce appears to face a tough task to get a transfer over the line.
Sunderland are yet to complete a signing in the summer transfer window, as Allardyce aims to make additions to his Black Cats squad.

The Wearsiders have battled against relegation for a number of years, and Allardyce has already suggested that he is determined to get them challenging at the right end of the table next year.
Grenier made 21 appearances for Lyon last season, scoring on two occasions.
