Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers was reportedly on Wolverhampton Wanderers owners Fosun International’s radar.

As reported by BBC Sport in July 2016, Chinese conglomerate Fosun International bought Wolves for £45 million.
Super-agent Mendes has been a close advisor to Fosun International since 2015, and The Times has claimed that he helped them buy Wolves after approaching Rangers.
Premier League success
Wolves won the Championship title with ease last season and are doing quite well in the Premier League at the moment.
The Wanderers could end up in the top half of the Premier League this season, and that will represent success for Nuno’s team.

Title challenge
As for Rangers, the Gers are challenging bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title this season.
Under manager Steven Gerrard, who was appointed in the role in the summer of 2018, Rangers have been superb so far this campaign, and there is a genuine chance that they could end up winning the league title.
