West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis is coming under increasing pressure at the Hawthorns.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, West Bromwich Albion’s board are curious over why many of their side’s attacking players are being left out.

Tony Pulis has often chosen to line-up with a defensive midfield trio, with Gareth Barry, Jake Livermore and Grzegorz Krychowiak often starting together.

Albion fans have heavily criticised Pulis for his lack of attacking intent, and the Baggies board are now said to be becoming more interested in the Welsh boss’s recent team selections.

West Brom’s board are bemused over why the likes of Nacer Chadli, Oliver Burke and Matt Phillips are not being used more regularly.

And it could be that Pulis needs to start showing more willingness to attack, if he is to keep his job at the Hawthorns.

Pulis is under serious pressure now, with Albion fans calling for him to be sacked during their 1-0 defeat to Huddersfield Town last weekend.

West Brom are next in action after the international break, when they take on Chelsea at the Hawthorns. If the Baggies are unable to win that tie, it could spell the end for Pulis.
