Nottingham Forest are said to have accelerated their pursuit of the former Leicester City and Watford defender.

The Udinese defender, Molla Wague, should arrive at Nottingham Forest on loan ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline, according to Foot Mercato.
The French website claims Forest have accelerated their pursuit of Wague, who has expressed a desire to leave his current employers.
It adds that a return to France, the Mali international’s birthplace, was favoured by the 27-year-old.
But despite receiving contact from RC Lens, it is in England’s second tier that Wague will continue his career, according to Foot Mercato.
Wague should take the place of Danny Fox at Nottingham Forest, after the centre-back’s move to Wigan Athletic this week.

And he could even forge a partnership with Yohan Benalouane, his former Leicester City teammate, at the back.
Wague also had a spell at Watford, but has only appeared eight times in English football.
