According to The Express, Wolverhampton Wanderers want more than £50 million for Tottenham Hotspur target Ruben Neves.

It has been reported that Tottenham and Manchester United are interested in signing Neves from Premier League rivals Wolves in the summer transfer window.

Spurs and the Red Devils are ‘casting admiring glances’ at the 23-year-old, who is valued at more than £50 million by the Wanderers, according to the report.

Stats

Neves has been on the books of Wolves since the summer of 2017 when he joined from FC Porto for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £16 million.

The 23-year-old scored six goals and provided one assist in 42 Championship matches for the Wanderers during the 2017-18 campaign to help them clinch promotion to the Premier League, according to WhoScored.

Last season, the Portugal international scored four goals and provided three assists in 35 league games, according to WhoScored.

So far this campaign, Neves has scored two goals and provided one assist in 29 Premier League matches, and has scored one goal and provided one assist in seven Europa League games, according to WhoScored.

Described as “a world-class talent” by former Wolves striker Steve Bull in The Express & Star in February 2018, Neves would be a brilliant signing for Spurs.
