According to The Telegraph, Tottenham Hotspur talent Elliot Thorpe is now wanted by Hoffenheim.
It’s claimed that Thorpe is attracting mounting interest in Europe, and Hoffenheim have been scouting him playing for Spurs’ under-23’s and Wales’ youth sides.
Thorpe 20, has been coming up through the Tottenham ranks having joined from Cambridge United back in 2013.
Primarily a central midfielder, Thorpe has played 18 games in Premier League 2 this season, scoring two goals.
Just last month, Tottenham fans were raving about Thorpe, branding him a ‘serious talent’ and believing that people should remember his name, because they’ll be hearing plenty of it in the future.
Now though, Thorpe could be on the move to Germany, where he may well feel there is a pathway to playing first-team football.
Jadon Sancho has famously thrived since moving to Germany, whilst ex-Tottenham talent Noni Madueke has excelled with PSV Eindhoven after quitting Spurs.

Thorpe will soon have the same decision to make; does he stay with Spurs and attempt to break through, or decide to head abroad in search of opportunities?
He turns 21 later this year and appears to be behind 16-year-old Alfie Devine in the pecking order at Tottenham, which may not bode too well for him.
Ryan Sessegnon has just spent this season on loan at Hoffenheim, and if the Bundesliga side get their way, they may raid Tottenham for a permanent signing this time.
