Report claims Tottenham Hotspur interest in Federico Chiesa

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Federico Chiesa of Fiorentina.

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Federico Chiesa from Fiorentina, according to a report in Tuttomercatoweb.com.

Juventus, Inter Milan, Napoli, AS Roma and Paris Saint-Germain are also reported to be interested in the 20-year-old attacker, who is claimed to be valued at €60 million (£52.91m).

The 20-year-old is a very talented and promising young winger who has established himself in the Fiorentina team.

According to WhoScored, the youngster has scored four goals and provided one assist in 15 Serie A appearances for Fiorentina so much this season.

Federico Chiesa, who can also operate as a forward, central midfielder or attacking midfielder, would be a great long-term signing for any club, but the question is whether Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy would pay over £50m for a 20-year-old.

With mega-rich clubs such as PSG and Juventus also (reportedly) interested, Spurs could be out-bid. Moreover, Chiesa signed a new contract with Fiorentina only last month.
