The former Stoke City boss left West Bromwich Albion in November.

The Sun reports that Tony Pulis is ready for a return to Stoke City after leaving West Bromwich Albion.
Stoke boss Mark Hughes is under pressure after Saturday’s 3-0 home defeat at the hands of West Ham United, which left the Potters fourth from bottom of the Premier League.

And with games against West Brom, Huddersfield and Chelsea to come ahead of the new year, the Potters are said to be ‘panicking’ about their league position and form under Hughes.
Pulis, who has twice managed Stoke and established them within the top flight during his previous spell in charge, is regarded as something of a specialist in such situations.

However, the Sun reports that the 59-year-old is plans to spend Christmas at home with his family before making a return to management – nearly a month since his West Brom exit.
The report adds that Pulis, whom fellow Welshman Hughes replaced at the Bet365 Stadium four and a half years ago, remains popular with the Potters’ fans and is good friends with owner Peter Coates.
