Ryan Giggs is currently unemployed after leaving Manchester United.

According to The Sun, Swansea City have held a secret meeting with Ryan Giggs over the possibility of the Welshman becoming the club’s new manager.
The report claims that current Swansea boss Francesco Guidolin is under pressure following a poor start to the season and will likely be replaced in the coming weeks.
Giggs is currently unemployed after leaving his post as Manchester United assistant to Louis van Gaal in the summer following the arrival of new manager Jose Mourinho.

The 42-year-old amassed plenty of top-level experience as a player under Sir Alex Ferguson and he will have learned a lot during his time as United’s number two over the past couple of seasons. He has already been linked to the club earlier in the summer, but he has once again been linked to the Liberty.
With Swansea looking to head in a new direction under the club’s new American investors, a change in manager is expected with chairman Huw Jenkins seeking Guidolin’s replacement.
Giggs is said to be among a few candidates listed for the role, and The Sun report that the former Welsh captain recently sat down with Swans and held talks over the managerial position in a London hotel.

Jenkins is also said to have seen former US coach Bob Bradley on the recommendation of the club’s new investors, while Gianfranco Zola and Paul Clement are also named as possibilities.
Swansea host Liverpool this weekend and currently sit in 17th position in the Premier League table, picking up just one point from their last five outings.
