Swansea City midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has been linked with Everton, West Ham United and Leicester City in the summer transfer window.

Swansea City want as much as £50 million in order to part company with Gylfi Sigurdsson in the summer transfer window, according to BBC Sport.

It has been reported that Swansea have rejected an offer of around £40m from Leicester City for the former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder.

The report has also claimed of Everton’s interest in the Iceland international, while The Daily Star reported earlier this month that West Ham United want the 27-year-old.

The Mirror claimed in mid-June that Swansea wanted £40m for Sigurdsson this summer, but it seems that they are now demanding £50m.

From the Welsh outfit’s perspective, it makes perfect sense to want more and more for Sigurdsson, who is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.

After all, if Leicester, Everton and West Ham are keen on the former Spurs star, then a bidding war would suit Swansea just fine.

Sigurdsson scored nine goals and provided 13 assists in 38 Premier League appearances for Swansea during the 2016-17 campaign, as the Swans narrowly avoided relegation to the Championship.
