Aston Villa are being linked with a move for Norwegian defender Vegard Forren.
Forren is said to have been a target for Villa boss Steve Bruce before his move to Brighton & Hove Albion three months ago.

And the 29-year-old is back on the market again, after seeing his short-term deal come to an end without a first-team appearance for the Seagulls.
According to Eurosport Norway, Bruce’s interest hasn’t cooled, and Villa could be Forren’s next destination after Molde boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer dismissed talk of a return to the Tippeligaen side.

Villa are believed to want to strengthen their defensive ranks this summer, although it has been claimed that Bruce will have to raise his own funds to do so – which could explain any interest in the 33-cap Norway international.
Having said that, Forren would be a somewhat underwhelming signing, after failing to replicate the form which led to a £3 million move to Southampton in 2013.
Should Aston Villa move for Forren this summer?
