Everton and Southampton have been linked with Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that the Saints are ready to break the club-record £18 million transfer fee they paid Juventus to sign Mario Lemina in January 2017.
The report has claimed of Everton’s interest in the 31-year-old France international striker.

The Mirror has claimed that Giroud wants to leave Arsenal in the January transfer window in order to play regularly and be part of France’s squad for the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia next summer.
It has been reported that London clubs West Ham United and Crystal Palace are on alert and are interested in securing the services of the former Montpellier star.

Giroud has been on the books of Arsenal since the summer of 2012 when he joined from French club Montpellier for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £12 million.
The 31-year-old striker has three goals in 12 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal so far this season.
