According to Sport.ro, Rangers have received an offer from Lazio worth €13 million (£11.2 million) for Ianis Hagi.
The Romanian news outlet claim that Lazio are determined to sign the Rangers No.7, and want him at all costs.
Should Rangers accept this offer, it would see them make a £7.8 million profit, having initially signed Hagi from Genk for £3.4 million.
It would be a crushing blow for Steven Gerrard to lose the 16-cap Romania international, who he once described as ‘magic‘ following a Europe League brace against Braga.
In 39 appearances across all competitions this season, Hagi has scored seven goals while also recording 12 assists.
Those are fine numbers – you can see why Lazio are so keen to obtain his services.

In our view, Rangers must stay firm and resist the temptation to make a tidy profit on the 22-year-old.
At his age, Hagi has plenty of room for improvement, and therefore it is likely that his value will soar in years to come.
It’s a win-win for Rangers, in that respect.

Keep Hagi at Ibrox, and broaden his talents by letting him play Champions League football next season.
Then, if Rangers really needs the money, they can cash in on a much improved version of the attacking midfielder, presumably for more than the £11.2 million Lazio are offering.
The ball is well and truly in Rangers’ court.
