Glasgow Rangers manager Steven Gerrard recently spoke highly of Ibrox talent Dapo Mebude.

The report has claimed that Mebude signed a new contract at Rangers in December which will see him remain at Ibrox until 2021.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard recently spoke highly of the 17-year-old striker, telling The Scottish Sun that the teenager has a “huge future” and “big potential”.
Big future
Mebude is only 17 years of age, and it could take the teenager a while to establish himself in the Rangers first team.
Given how highly Rangers manager Gerrard rates him, the striker is bound to make an appearance for the Gers side sooner rather than later.

Title push
Meanwhile, Rangers’ quest to win the Scottish Premiership title this season suffered a blow at the weekend.
The Gers drew goalless with St. Johnstone at Ibrox this past Saturday, and are now as many as eight points behind leaders and Old Firm rivals Celtic.
