Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers and Heart of Midlothian are reportedly interested in former Gers star Steven Naismith.

Steven Naismith was on the books of Rangers from 2007 until 2012 and recently spoke of his desire to return to Ibrox.
Naismith told The Daily Mail in December 2017 that returning to Rangers in the January transfer window would appeal to him, with The Scottish Sun recently claiming that the Norwich City attacker is ready to play for the Gers for free until the end of the season.

According to Sky Sports, Rangers are considering a move for the Scotland international, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a forward.
However, it has also been reported that the Gers’ Scottish Premier League rivals, Heart of Midlothian, have made contact with Norwich in the Championship in England over the availability of the former Kilmarnock star.

It has been reported that Hearts, who are fifth in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment, are close to matching the valuation of the former Rangers star, who has struggled for playing time at Rangers
