Queens Park Rangers have been linked with Ipswich Town’s Alan Judge.

According to the East Anglian Daily Times, Queens Park Rangers wouldn’t be able to afford Ipswich Town’s Alan Judge even if they end up selling Luke Freeman to Sheffield United in a £4 million deal.
The Sun on Sunday (June 30; page 59) claims QPR boss Mark Warburton is interested in signing Judge as a potential replacement for Freeman who is tipped to join Premier League newcomers Sheffield United.
Warburton is a big fan of Judge, 30, having managed the player at Brentford, and the Republic of Ireland international arguably had the best season of his career at Griffin Park under Warburton’s guidance, grabbing 13 assists in the 2014/15 campaign.
Ipswich, however, have just penned Judge down to a new two-year deal having signed the player on a short-term deal last January, and they see him playing an integral part of their League One promotion bid.
The EADT says the playmaker is very happy at Portman Road and has little desire to leave. Moreover, Ipswich value him so highly that QPR wouldn’t even be able to produce the sort of figure to tempt them to sell.

Ipswich manager Paul Lambert has a big task on his hands this season as he looks to guide the Tractor Boys back to the Championship following their relegation to League One in May.
Scoring goals was a big problem for Ipswich last season as they netted just 36 times in 46 games. Judge will play a huge role in making chances for the team, and his creativity at League One level is almost irreplaceable.
