Report claims PSG representative and Toby Alderweireld agent holding talks

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in Toby Alderweireld of Tottenham Hotspur.

According to Le10 Sport, Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld’s agent is holding talks with Pini Zahavi representing Paris Saint-Germain today.

Renowned agent Zahavi has reportedly been commissioned by PSG to discuss a deal regarding Alderweireld.

The report has claimed that talks over the Belgium international are taking place today.

Tottenham Hotspur stay

Alderweireld is one of the best central defenders in the world, and there is little surprise to see that PSG are (reportedly) interested in the 29-year-old.

The Belgium international had had injury issues in recent times, but this season, the 29-year-old has been superb for Spurs and is back playing regularly for the North London outfit.

It is hard to see Tottenham cash in on the former Ajax star in the middle of the season, especially with Mauricio Pochettino’s side still in the race for the Premier League title and in the Champions League.

Spurs will return to action this evening when they take on Tranmere Rovers away from home in the third round of the FA Cup.
