According to the Daily Record, Celtic legend Peter Grant could return to the club this summer as part of Eddie Howe’s coaching staff.
Howe hasn’t yet taken the job, but he is still expected to be the next Celtic manager following Neil Lennon’s resignation in February.
Howe allegedly wants to pull off a triple raid on Bournemouth, as he wants their technical director Richard Hughes as well as coaches Stephen Purches and Simon Weatherstone.
One interesting note though is that Grant could join the coaching staff too in what would be an emotional return to Parkhead.
Grant, 55, recently left his post as Alloa Athletic boss and may go back to more of a coaching role in his next job.
Grant made more than 350 appearances for Celtic during his playing days, coming up through the ranks before becoming a Bhoys hero.

In 15 years at Celtic, Grant won two league titles and would surely jump at the chance to return to the club, with his inside knowledge no doubt invaluable to Howe.
Howe actually played alongside Grant at Bournemouth between 2000 and 2002, which may be where this potential partnership began.
