According to The Sun, Newcastle United are interested in signing Valentino Lazaro on a permanent contract from Inter Milan.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Premier League outfit Newcastle are in talks with Italian club Inter over a £21.25 million deal to make Lazaro’s loan permanent in the summer transfer window.

The Nerazzurri want to offload the 24-year-old winger, either on loan or on a permanent contract this summer, according to the report.

Stats

Lazaro joined Newcastle on loan from Inter in the January transfer window.

According to WhoScored, the Austria international winger has made two starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Magpies.

The 24-year-old has also scored one goal in one FA Cup tie for Steve Bruce’s side, according to WhoScored.

Football in England is suspended at the moment due to the global health crisis.

Good signing for Newcastle United?

Lazaro is a very good winger, and his performances for Newcastle during his loan spell have been encouraging.

A permanent deal for the Austrian would not be a bad move for the Magpies.
