Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.
It has been reported that Newcastle are among the clubs who admire the England international midfielder.
Premier League rivals West Ham United are also reported to be among the 25-year-old midfielder’s admirers, and so are French club Marseille and Italian outfit Napoli.
Good signing for Newcastle United?
Wilshere is struggling for regular playing time at Arsenal at the moment, although he is now fully fit.
The 25-year-old, though, has played well when he has been given chances, and it is clear that the midfielder can do a good job if he is given a run of games.
Newcastle are struggling survival in the Premier League at the moment, and they could do with someone of Wilshere’s quality.
However, the question is whether the 25-year-old England international would be interested in joining a club who may go down to the Championship at the end of the season.
According to The Express, Wilshere earns £90,000 per week at Arsenal as salary.
