The former Manchester United wide-man is said to be wanted by Everton.

Last week it was reported that Everton were keen on bringing in former Manchester United winger Nani to the club from Turkish side Fenerbahce.

Fanatik reported that Everton were willing to bring in the Portuguese international – who has a release clause in his contract at the Turkish club set at a fee in the region of €8 million (£6.4 million).

The same report however also claimed that Inter Milan were hopeful of bringing in the player.

The story has rumbled on into another week and now another Turkish report is suggesting a major advantage that Everton have on the Italians in any pursuit for Nani.

Bursada Bugun is reporting that Nani is now keen on a return to England, as his wife wants to head back to the UK.

Daniela Martins is English and Nani met her whilst playing for Manchester United.

The report claims she would like to return to the North-West of England with Nani and that could give Everton a potential advantage in any pursuit for the player.

Nani joined Fenerbahce from Manchester United in the summer, after spending the 2015-16 season on loan at Sporting Lisbon.

He has played 40 times for Fener this season, scoring 10 goals from out wide and would be a great addition to the Everton attack.
