Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Naby Keita from RB Leipzig in the summer transfer window.

Liverpool will have to pay between £50 million and £60 million if they want to sign Naby Keita from RB Leipzig in the summer transfer window, according to The Times.
It has been reported that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp wants to recruit Keita in the summer in order to reinforce his midfield department.

The 22-year-old central midfielder was in stunning form for RB Leipzig this past season and helped the German club finish as high as second in the Bundesliga table.
RB Leipzig club’s chief executive, Oliver Mintzlaff, has been quoted as saying by The Times that they are not planning to sell any of their players in the summer.
According to The Times, Liverpool will have to pay between £50m and £60m in order to prompt RB Leipzig to reconsider their stance.

“There is a feeling that only offers in the region of £50-60 million would prompt Leipzig to reconsider their stance, with no guarantee of success,” states the report in The Times. “Liverpool would be willing to pay that to land a player Klopp clearly rates.”
The Reds’ transfer record is the £35m they paid Newcastle United to sign striker Andy Carroll in 2011, according to The Times.
Keita scored eight goals and provided seven assists in 31 Bundesliga appearances for RB Leipzig this past season, according to WhoScored.
