The Middlesbrough boss is currently hanging on by a thread.

According to a report from the Sun on Sunday (March 31st, page 59), Middlesbrough could appoint Jonathan Woodgate as their new boss if they decide to sack Tony Pulis.
Boro are currently in the midst of a woeful run of form, and have fallen down to eighth spot in the Championship table, having taken just one point from their last five league games.
Pulis arrived at the Riverside on Boxing Day in 2017, but he has failed to have the impact that was expected of him.
Middlesbrough now face a real battle in the race for the play-off spots, and should they fail to finish inside the top six this season, they will surely part ways with Pulis.

And according to a report from the Sun on Sunday (March 31st, page 59), the Teesside outfit are eyeing former player Jonathan Woodgate as a potential replacement for the experienced 61-year-old.
Woodgate spent three separate spells with Middlesbrough during his career, and is currently on the coaching staff at the club.
His appointment as manager at the Riverside would surely be a popular one amongst the Boro faithful.
