Manchester United want Arvin Appiah, but the Nottingham Forest youngster is leaving for Almeria, according to a report.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Appiah will leave Championship club Forest for Almeria in Spain for a transfer fee of £8 million.
The 18-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as a winger, is reportedly set to undergo a medical at the Spanish second division club.
According to The Sun, Premier League club United have tracked the England Under-19 international, but it is Almeria who are set to secure the services of the young attacker.

Missing out
Appiah is a very talented and promising young attacking player who would have been a brilliant signing for United in the long run.
For a club as rich as United, £8m is not really a lot of money, and perhaps the Red Devils should have made a concrete move for the 18-year-old.
The Red Devils signed 21-year-old winger Daniel James from Swansea City and 21-year-old right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace this summer, and Appiah would have been a good addition to the club for the long term just like them.
