Liverpool could reportedly ask for one of Real Madrid’s best players in return for the 26-year-old.

According to a report from Catalan-based newspaper SPORT, the only way that Liverpool will sell Sadio Mane to Real Madrid is if Marco Asensio moves to Anfield as part of the deal.
Sport claims that new Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane is determined to bring Mane, 26, to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
Marca reported earlier this month that Madrid are preparing a £73 million bid for the Senegalese ace, but that will surely not be enough to tempt the Merseyside outfit into selling.
Whilst Jürgen Klopp will undoubtedly want to keep hold of Mane, he might be forced into selling, if the player himself demands a move.
Spanish publication Sport claims that the German is a huge fan of Marco Asensio, and he could demand the Spaniard in return for Mane.

The 23-year-old is an incredible talent, and he can play anywhere along the front-line. He possesses pace in abundance, and plays with a certain kind of directness that would make him ideally suited to Liverpool’s swashbuckling playing style.
Whether Liverpool fans would be happy with the Spaniard as a replacement for Mane, however, is up for debate.
