Leeds United could reportedly part company with Garry Monk in the summer.

According to The Sun, Leeds United head coach Garry Monk may not be in charge of the first team next season.
It has been reported by the British tabloid that Monk is facing the axe at Elland Road after failing to guide the Whites to the top six of the Championship this season.
Monk was appointed as the Leeds head coach in the summer of 2016 and has a contract with the West Yorkshire outfit until the end of the season.

The Sun has claimed that the former Swansea City manager’s deal at Leeds will not be renewed when it runs out in the summer.
“Leeds co-owner Andrea Radrizzani has brought in Spaniard Ivan Bravo as a special adviser and he will appoint several fellow countrymen in a new backroom team,” adds the report in The Sun.
“And a foreign coach is set to be part of the set-up, with moves about to be made to recruit a new face for the dug-out.”
Monk has done a truly wonderful job at Leeds, and it would be a surprise if the club indeed decided to part company with him.
The 38-year-old has got the fans on the team’s side, and although failure to end up in the playoffs must be hugely disappointing, it would make sense to keep him on and allow him to continue his work.
Monk is one of the most talented young English managers, and it would be a shame if he is not given at least one more season at Leeds.
