Silvestri has made just six appearances for Leeds United this season.

A Tuttomercatoweb exclusive claims Leeds United are keen to extend Marco Silvestri’s stay beyond the end of next season.
But having made just six appearances since the arrival of Robert Green – who signed a new deal of his own this month – it’s perhaps not something the Italian will have a burning desire to do.
Though Silvestri has performed well when called upon, it’s probable that any second-choice goalkeeper could have done likewise – and let’s not forget those questionable displays in the two seasons prior to this one.
Besides, there are plenty of able deputies likely to be up for grabs this summer, with Lee Camp, one of Leeds’ alleged 2016 targets (Yorkshire Evening Post), among them.
Camp has missed a large chunk of Rotherham United’s torrid campaign through injury, but did enough before then to be wanted by his old boss Neil Warnock at Cardiff City when his contract expires (The Sun).

Capturing the 32-year-old for nothing would allow Leeds to find a buyer for Silvestri – a player they paid £425,000 in 2014 – and at least get some money back that could be put elsewhere.
Should Leeds consider changing number 2 ‘keepers this summer? Or is Silvestri worth a new deal at Elland Road?
