Leeds United are being linked with a move for Ghanaian striker Caleb Ekuban.
According to Ghana Soccernet, Leeds United are interested in signing Chievo striker Caleb Ekuban after a strong loan spell in Albania.
The Whites don’t currently have a manager after Garry Monk’s shock resignation last month, with sole owner Andrea Radrizzani now searching for a replacement.

Radrizzani has though made one move already, bringing Spaniard Victor Orta to the club as Leeds’ new director of football, and he could get to work bringing in new signings despite the lack of a manager.
Ghana Soccernet report that Leeds are emerging as a frontrunner to sign Chievo Verona forward Caleb Ekuban, in what would be something of a surprise move.

Ekuban, 23, was born in Italy and came up through the ranks with Chievo, before heading out on loan to Sudtirol, Lumezzane and Renate, with first-team football hard to come by with Chievo as a youngster.
This past season, Ekuban went on loan to Albanian side Partizani Tirana, and hit 17 league goals in 34 appearances to trigger interest in his signature.

Leeds certainly need another striker to help ease the burden on star striker Chris Wood, and Ekuban could be an under-the-radar target for Orta and Leeds.
Predicting success based on goals scored in Albania is difficult, but APOEL Nicosia are also keen, meaning Leeds may have to move quickly if they do really want to sign Ekuban this summer.
