Tottenham Hotspur reportedly wanted Michy Batshuayi before he moved to Crystal Palace on loan from Chelsea.

Palace signed Belgium international striker Batshuayi on loan from Premier League rivals Chelsea on January transfer deadline day until the end of the season.
The Independent has claimed that the Eagles managed to secure the services of the 25-year-old for close to £1m.
Tottenham were also interested in the former Marseille star, according to The Independent, with The Mirror reporting that the player himself was willing to move to the North London outfit.
However, according to The Mirror, Chelsea demanded as much as £8m as loan fee that Spurs refused to pay.

With star striker Harry Kane injured and Fernando Llorente not always playing well, Tottenham were in need of a striker, and one suspects that Chelsea were trying to get as much as they could from their bitter London rivals given their situation.
Batshuayi made his debut for Palace at the weekend, as the striker featured in the Premier League game against Fulham.
