The striker only signed a new contract with the Premier League side in February.
Tottenham’s Harry Kane
A report in the Daily Mirror has claimed that Harry Kane is in talks to become Tottenham Hotspur’s highest paid player when he signs a new deal with the club.
The England international only agreed a long-term contract with Spurs in February, but the Mirror suggest that he could now be on the verge of signing an updated deal that would see his wages more than doubled.

The Mirror hint that Moussa Sissoko’s arrival has acted as something of a catalyst for the fresh talks. The Frenchman has penned a deal that will see him pocket £5m per year, and in an attempt to prove Kane’s value to the team, Spurs are prepared to give the 23-year-old £7.5m per year, with his basic salary rising from £50,000 a week to £120,000 a week.

Although Kane is yet to open his account for the new season, there is no doubt that getting him to commit his future, once again, with terms that any clubs potentially interested in signing him may struggle to better is a great piece of business for the club.
The forward has established himself as a talisman of the side, and proved last season that a slow start to the campaign will not stop him bagging plenty of goals.
And Mauricio Pochettino may be hoping that the new deal inspires Kane to replicate the form he has shown in the past two seasons this time around.
