The Everton winger spent the second half of last season on loan with AC Milan.

A report emanating from Italy this morning claims that Toffees winger Gerard Deulofeu wants a permanent move to AC Milan this summer, with Barcelona dithering in regards to actioning the €12 Million (£10.5 million) buy-back option they have on the Spaniard, according to Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 23-year-old spent the 2013/14 season on loan with Everton, before joining the Merseyside outfit from Barca on a permanent basis in the summer of 2015, for a fee believed to be in the region of £4.3 million.

He went on to make just 20 league starts for the Blues in the 18 months after moving to Goodsion Park, however, and was shipped out to the San Siro on loan in January of this year, where he impressed for the Italians, scoring four goals and chipping in with three assists in 17 Serie A outings.

And Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Deulofeu wants to join the Rossoneri on a permanent basis, rather than move back to Barcelona, or remain at Everton for that matter, because he believes the offer of more regular first-team football at the San Siro will stand him in good stead with regards his hopes of making Spain’s 2018 World Cup squad.
And if the La Liga giants continue to flounder, it would be no surprise to see the pacey winger plying his trade in Italy next season, on a permanent basis.
