Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon.

According to The Sun, Fulham are already preparing for life without teen sensation Ryan Sessegnon, as they have started making contact over signing a new left back.

The Cottagers have have enjoyed a disappointing season so far, sitting eight points shy of the play-off places and 14 points shy of the automatic spots right now – but Sessegnon continues to impress.

Slavisa Jokanovic has seen Sessegnon hit four goals and two assists, with the 17-year-old starting every single Championship game so far this season.

Unsurprisingly though, Sessegnon is attracting major interest ahead of the January transfer window, given that he is one of English football’s top young talents, with The Sun suggesting that Fulham are preparing for the worst.

It’s claimed that Fulham have already started making contact with clubs and agents over potentially available left backs for the January, a possible indication that Sessegnon may be on the move.

Sky Sports recently reported that Sessegnon is Tottenham’s top choice to replace Danny Rose in 2018, with the report stating that Spurs have wanted Sessegnon for over a year, suggesting that they will continue to pursue him if possible.

Tottenham may well be hoping that they can seal a deal for Sessegnon before a Premier League hijacks them, but interest in another left back may actually impact the future of fellow Fulham left back Rafa Soares.

The Portuguese youngster, on loan from Porto, has yet to start a single Championship game since his summer move, and whilst many may suggest that Sessegnon could be on the move, Soares being sent back to Porto instead may not be totally unrealistic.
