The 19-year-old is out of contract this summer and Everton, Sunderland and Newcastle United may be about to pounce.
Dominic Solanke scores for Chelsea’s development side
Everton, Sunderland and Newcastle United could make moves for Chelsea striker Dominic Solanke, according to the Daily Mail.
It is claimed the trio could offer Solanke wages of around £35,000 a week to join them, which is £15,000 a week less than he is alleged to have asked for at Chelsea.
Blues boss Antonio Conte admitted on Friday the 19-year-old is likely to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of his contract this summer, with Liverpool and Arsenal said to be the early front-runners to sign him.
But Solanke, who has played just once for Chelsea’s first team, could find first-team football equally hard to come by at either club, with the likes of Roberto Firmino, Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool), and Alexis Sanchez, Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck (Arsenal) currently competing for places, which could increase the appeal of Everton, Sunderland or Newcastle.
Everton are currently short of options beyond top scorer Romelu Lukaku – a player Chelsea are ironically keen to re-sign, according to reports – while their development of promising Englishmen Mason Holgate, Tom Davies and Ademola Lookman has caught the eye this season.

As for Sunderland and Newcastle, much is likely to depend on which division they are in next season, with the Magpies looking a good bet to replace their fierce rivals in the top flight.
According to the London Evening Standard, Solanke could cost as much as £8 million in compensation.
