Everton allegedly fear huge bids for Richarlison this summer.
According to The Mirror, Everton officials are worried about Richarlison’s future, as both Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are allegedly ramping up their interest.
Richarlison, 22, joined Everton from Watford last summer, as Marco Silva fought hard to bring the Brazilian with him to Goodison Park having got the best out of him with the Hornets.
The Brazilian was viewed as a major gamble given his huge transfer fee, and whilst there have been ups and downs, he’s still hit 14 goals in all competitions and picked up one assist.
He’s played in a whole host of roles for Silva, underlining his importance at Goodison Park, but other teams are beginning to take notice.
The Mirror claim that both Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are ready to ramp up their interest in Richarlison, potentially offering around £70million for him.
It’s claimed that Richarlison is happy at Everton, which is a source of optimism, but there are allegedly fears at Goodison Park that he could be tempted away with big wages on offer.
The Mirror recently noted that Richarlison is majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri’s favourite player at Everton, but with no European qualification, it may still be a battle to keep him.
Having already had four senior clubs and only just turned 22 on Friday, Richarlison may be better off staying at Everton and developing his game more, rather than gambling on a big move to early into his career.
