Everton and Sevilla have been linked with Omar Mascarell of Eintracht Frankfurt in the January transfer window.

It has also been reported by the Spanish publication that La Liga outfit Sevilla want to secure the services of the 24-year-old defensive midfielder this month.
The former Real Madrid midfielder has only just retuned from a long-term Achilles injury.

The former Spain Under-20 international defensive midfielder joined German club Eintracht from Spanish and European giants Real Madrid in the summer of 2016.
According to ESPN, Mascarell made his senior debut for Madrid when Jose Mourinho – now in charge of Premier League and European powerhouse Manchester United – was the manager of Los Blancos.

The 24-year-old spent the 2014-15 season on loan at Derby County in the Championship in England from Madrid.
It is interesting that Everton are (reportedly) interested in Mascarell. The Toffees do not need a defensive midfielder. Moreover, the Spaniard had only just returned to full fitness.
