Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has reportedly been put up for sale by Marco Silva and Marcel Brands.

Everton have decided that a clear-out is needed this summer to trim the numbers in their squad.
Schneiderlin is now said to be one of the players to have been put up for sale by Brands and Silva, with the pair getting down to work quickly at Goodison Park.

The French midfielder may feel that the decision is harsh, as his form over the back end of the campaign for Everton was actually improved, but Silva has made a good call.
Schneiderlin spent too much of last season out of form, and did not justify his sizeable wage package.
The former Manchester United man is said to be on £120,000-a-week at Goodison Park (Daily Star), and those wages would be better off spent elsewhere.

Schneiderlin could struggle to fit in with Everton’s style under Silva, who prefers a high press.
The 28-year-old has his qualities, but he isn’t the most mobile, and due to Everton’s ambitions, Silva has made the right call in thinking he can upgrade Schneiderlin for next term.
