Rangers winger Dalcio will not leave the club on transfer deadline day, according to The Scottish Sun.

The Scottish Sun has claimed of reports in Portugal stating that Dalcio was set to return to his native country despite joining the Gers just a few weeks ago in June.

The 21-year-old joined Rangers on a season-long loan deal from Portuguese giants Benfica in the summer transfer window.

According to The Scottish Sun, Dalcio will remain part of Pedro Caixinha’s Rangers team for the 2017-18 campaign.

The Portuguese winger has not made a good start to his Rangers career, but he is only 21 years of age and it is too early to write him off.

Dalcio needs to be given more playing time before he is judged on whether he is a good player or not.

Rangers have not made a great start to the 2017-18 Scottish Premiership campaign, and have been able to pick up just seven points from four matches so far this season.
