Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon was linked with a move to Chelsea in the January transfer window.

Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon has agreed a new contract with the club, according to The Scottish Sun.
It has been reported that Gordon has put pen to paper on a three-and-a-half-year deal which will see him remain at Celtic Park until the summer of 2020.
“The official paperwork is still to be completed but Gordon’s representatives have had the confirmation they were waiting for,” adds the report in The Scottish Sun.
“It’s unlikely there will be any announcement over the weekend as the club respects the loss of Lisbon Lion Tommy Gemmell.”
Chelsea speculation over?
According to The Scottish Sun, Chelsea were interested in signing Gordon from Celtic in the January transfer window.
The Premier League outfit are claimed to have made two serious bids for the 34-year-old goalkeeper.
A new contract for Gordon should be good news for Celtic, as it shows that the Scotland international is happy to remain at the Glasgow giants.
Despite being 34 years of age, the former Sunderland man is one of the best goalkeepers in the Scottish Premiership and is a key figure in Brendan Rodgers’s side.
Celtic are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 79 points from 27 matches, 27 points clear of second-placed Aberdeen.
The Bhoys will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they take on St Mirren at Celtic Park in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup.
