Clinton N’Jie is reportedly out on his way out of Tottenham Hotspur to Marseille in the summer transfer window.
Tottenham Hotspur attacker Clinton N’Jie has obtained his French visa, according to L’Equipe, as reported by Get French Football News.
N’Jie (reportedly) received the visa on Friday, meaning that the youngster is now a step closer to moving to Marseille.
It has been reported that the 22-year-old, who can play as a forward or as a winger, will join Marseille on a loan deal which will be made permanent after he plays a certain number of games for a transfer fee of €7 million (£5.91m).
N’Jie’s move to Marseille will mean that Tottenham will be able to sign Georges-Kevin N’Koudou from the French club, according to the report.
N’Koudou is 21 years of age and plays as a winger, and he could prove to be a good signing for Tottenham.
N’Jie joined Spurs from Ligue 1 outfit Lyon in the summer of 2015 and arrived at White Hart Lane with a good reputation.
According to The Mirror, Spurs had to pay as much as £12 million as transfer fee in order to secure the services of the 22-year-old.
However, the Cameroon international failed to establish himself in the Tottenham first team, playing just eight times in the Premier League last season.
