Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has been linked with Celtic and Newcastle United in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that the Scottish Premiership giants are keen on securing the services of the England international striker this month.
According to the report, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers would happily offer Sturridge the chance to leave Liverpool.

Rodgers worked with the 28-year-old former Manchester City and Chelsea striker at Liverpool.
Sturridge would be a blockbuster signing for Celtic, and there is no doubt that he would make the Hoops a much better team than they are at the moment.
Newcastle United are also interested in the Liverpool striker, according to The Gambling Times.

The Magpies are struggling for goals in the Premier League at the moment, and signing the 28-year-old would enhance their chances of escaping the drop to the Championship at the end of the season.
The problem that both Celtic and Newcastle could face is Sturridge’s salary, which is reported by The Sun to be worth £125,000 per week.
