Arsenal defender Krystian Bielik has been linked with Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic and Legia Warsaw in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that Bielik could leave Premier League club Arsenal for Scottish Premiership outfit Celtic on loan for the rest of the season.

It has also been claimed that Celtic are in competition with Polish champions Legia Warsaw for the services of the 20-year-old, who can operate as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder.
The Poland Under-19 international has been on the books of Arsenal since the summer of 2015 when he joined from Polish side Legia for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £2.4 million.

Bielik has yet to break into the Gunners’ first team and spent the second half of last season on loan at Birmingham City in the Championship in England.
Celtic could do with another central defender, and Bielik could prove to be a smart short-loan signing.
