Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic have been linked with Charly Musonda of Chelsea and Marvin Compper of RB Leipzig in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that Celtic boss Rodgers wants the two deals in place by the start of the January transfer window.

Musonda, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, recently signed a new contract with Chelsea, but The Scottish Sun claims that the 21-year-old is likely to be granted permission to head out of Stamford Bridge on loan for the second half of the season.
It has also been claimed that Celtic manager Rodgers is a long-term admirer of the Belgium Under-21 international attacker.

The Scottish Sun has also reported that Rodgers wants the signing of 32-year-old central defender Compper from Leipzig wrapped up before the transfer window reopens next month.
The Bundesliga club are reportedly open to selling the German centre-back, who would be ineligible to play for Celtic in the Europa League this season.
