According to The Sun, Aston Villa plan to sign as many as 10 new players in the summer transfer window.

Villa will play in the Premier League next season after clinching promotion from the Championship via the playoffs.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that new Villa owners Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens are planning to strengthen the squad to compete in the Premier League.

The Sun has claimed that as many as 10 new players are expected to join Villa this summer.

Big summer

Villa have a good squad, but as many as eight players have already been released, including Mile Jedinak, Alan Hutton and Tommy Elphick.

The likes of Tammy Abraham and Tyrone Mings were on loan at Villa, and it remains to be seen if the Villans are able to bring them back to Villa Park for the 2019-20 campaign.
